About Me 

Patient Resource and Support Advocate

​Living with a progressive disease, I have spent many years working with and navigating hospital, doctors,

insurance and all things medical. This has been a long journey with a lot of unnecessary struggles resulting in my becoming an experienced and strong self-advocate. My experiences have included a range of emotions including fear, unsureness, the feeling of not being heard, the dismisiveness from busy professionals. The pain of struggle and frustration does nothing to encourage healing.

I am well versed in both medical and insurance terminology. I am skilled in asking the right questions and not letting go until I get the answer. I know the ins and outs of obtaining proper medical equipment and dealing with insurance barriers. I am compassionate, patient, kind and dedicated to helping others who are struggling. I feel incredibly empowered and committed

to guiding patients through the all-to-common scenarios of feeling unheard, brushed aside, alone and unsure.
